If you loved yourself completely, what would you do differently today?

A question came to me very clearly in a dream this week — one that felt illuminating and important to share:
If you loved yourself completely, what would you do differently? ✨💛
And for me, this question has three different layers — three invitations into deeper alignment, care, and honesty with ourselves.
1. The first layer is the practical choices 🌸
If you loved yourself completely, what actions would you take?
Maybe you’d go to the gym.Maybe you’d book a massage.Maybe you’d buy clothes that make you feel beautiful now.Maybe you’d read something nourishing, go for a walk, cook something healing, reach out to a friend, or organise your space.
These choices matter. They’re often the first signals of self-respect — the ways we show our body and life, “I’m willing to care for you.”
2. The second layer is the quality underneath the action 💖
Because the same action can come from two entirely different energies.
You can go to the gym with tension, pressure, or self-criticism…or you can go with softness, dignity, and devotion.
You can tidy your home while punishing yourself…or while treating yourself as someone worthy of beauty and ease.
So the deeper question becomes:
If I loved myself completely…how would I do this? What tone, what quality would I bring?
This is where everything starts to shift.
How do you move through these choices? Do you do them with self-pressure, shame, or “I’m not enough yet”? How does that affect how your body feels?
Or do you move with softness, curiosity, and presence? 🌿 How would you sit, stand, exercise, speak with those qualities?
Tune into the feeling, the sensations, the speed.
3. And the third layer is the illumination 💛
Because sometimes you’ll ask this question and realise: You can’t yet shift the tone. You feel resistance, shame, tightness, collapse, avoidance, or an “ugh.”
That is not a problem. That is the doorway.
It shows you where the younger part, the wounded part, or the over-protected part still lives.
It shows you where love hasn’t been safe yet.
It shows you where your real work is — the work that leads to actual transformation, not performance.
This is the excavation. This is the healing. This is the path toward genuine self-love that doesn’t require pretending.
So ask yourself gently today:
If I loved myself completely, what would I do differently? And how would I do it?
You don’t need the whole picture.Just notice the next step.Notice the energy underneath it.And notice what becomes illuminated when you try to bring love where it has never been before.
That’s where the gold is.That’s where the change starts. 🌿
So, pause for a moment today:
If there was no judgment, no “not enough,” no pressure — just pure love for yourself — what would your next move be? Even the tiniest action counts.
I’d love to hear from you. Comment below and share one small step you could take today if you loved yourself completely, I’d love to hear. 💖
